Put AH mount in real money shop

in ff14 they have all kinds of $50 and $60 account wide mounts; i’d give you $60 blizzard for the AH mount, instantly.

I bet you’d make $200,000 overnight if you did that,
despite the whiners who “earned it in game”

How about you invest some of that money into melatonin so you can go to sleep before sharing these suggestions with the rest of us.

That escalated quickly.

Why 60 dollars, when they can farm you for a 1000 dollars obfuscated by the premium currency funbuck conversion?

It’s a business tactic to withhold a sought after item for years then pad the books by fomo ripcording it to max out cashing in on the whales who thirsted for said item.

Blizzard knows they can farm the industry sought after krakens and whales with an item like that, so they keep it for a rainy day to FOMO to max out the cashout.

Let me translate this. If they keep it on the black auction house, players will continue to pay real money for large sums of gold via the token system. Financially flush players do this in hope they can cap out the 5 mil top buyout. They make it sparse and far and few between so that financially advanced players keep their coffers full hoping it’ll show up and they can bag it on a black auction house box or full out mount appearance.

not sure where you are getting your information, but the most expensive mount on the mog station is $42 and thats a mount that can carry 8 players. its a literal whale mount for gaming whales.

They’ll hold on to that and really rare mounts like Spectral Tiger/other TCG mounts for a very rainy day lmao.

I mean, think about how much buying a carry is through WoWtoken gold, just do that.

(You can buy anything with “real money” if you throw enough gold at it.)

No. The AH mount cost $800 in real currency. Why would they sell it for $60? I worked for months non stop to farm my 5mil gold for it.

and just like that, the bruto is there for the rainy day cashout to help recover PR from 11.0.5 patch issues.

Sadly Blizzard was way ahead of this person.

Can you tell me the next powerball numbers?

this topic was clearly a plant to gage the public interest. considering what just happened… its disgusting.

doubtful that this person had a premonition. and instead more logical it was an employee or a friend of one… trying to see public perception of the idea… well

That’s a bad take lol.

11 days and less than 10 posts… wow such amazing engagement for feedback to put it in the store.

Some conspiracy theories should remain unspoken.

I’d argue that number could be 10x that easily.

(Actual good necro tho lol.)
