I just use my hearthstone, or dalaran hearthstone, or garrison hearthstone (longer cause then need to use portal to ashran and not everyone has that unlocked on all alts)
If that’s not enough, why the hell are you going back and forth this many times for?

Set your Hearth to Valdrakken, then take the portal to the camp. That’s what I do.

Someone was already saying that if Druids were given a portal to the Emerald Dream in the Emerald Dream Dreamway it would be OP.

It’s like a 10 second flight.
Convenience is great, but we don’t need portals to get to and from everywhere. I’m surprised there’s even a portal too the Emerald Dream is Valdrakken.

Do when you have to fly to the portal, go through portal, fly to another flight point, then fly back to Valdrakken. It’s awful and badly designed to make portals to other lands and not have portals back. Lazy design.

It is now. It wasn’t initially. It was very weirdly unmarked for a while, and nothing ever pointed you to the portal. It’s honestly the most well hidden (in plain sight) convenience portal Blizzard has done imo.

Ah, strange. Wonder why they didn’t add it the first few days. Probably another bug.
I honestly feel like the portal was probably a last minute afterthought. It all adds up. It just randomly appears in a weird spot with no fanfare, it was completely unmarked, quests don’t even give you the “Take portal to Emerald Dream (Optional)” bit when in Val to guide you to the portal…
I suspect they just decided, hey maybe this is just a little bit far away to fly every day, looked for the greenest bit of Valdrakken and slapped in a portal.
Now if only they did that for ZC… sure it’s basically right next to Val but… shakes fist at entrance tunnel

There is a portal to Dragon Isle in the Emerald Dream right at the Ancient Bough. Thats close enough for Dragon Aspect work.

As a druid I should be able to access it from the emerald dreamway. Not having it that way would make zero sense, you understand. I can get to all these places but not the place that’s at the heart of the reason why I’m accessing these places?
I mean if they won’t I’m just going to emerald dreamway < dalaran < org < valdrakken < emerald dream. So load screens ever since the dawn of SSD aren’t even a big deal, it’s just the principal of the thing.

Not weird. That’s the Green Dragon enclave.
It was only unmarked for three days, though. Which is why I think it was a bug.
And there’s no quest that would make sense to lead you to the portal, honestly.
It doesn’t go to Valdrakken. Which is what they’re asking for.

Not arguing against you about it being a bug, and yes, I’m aware that that’s the Green enclave. I’m just saying I think the portal came very late in the development of the patch as an afterthought, and I called that a weird random spot because, well, hiw often do people visit the other enclaves in Val? Regardless, my main point was it was an afterthought and they randomly slapped it into the game late in development.
As for the “Take portal to X (Optional)” objective… you do realise lots of quests have that, right? If the game sees that you aren’t on the same continent / landmass / loading screen as the quest, they’ll throw in an optional objective to take a portal to that landmass, guiding you to said portals. They’ve done that for a very long time, and its possible to go to Orgrimmar and have a bunch of quests telling you to take a portal to Valdrakken, or Oribos, or Zuldazar, etc.
That’s what I meant. None of the Emerald Dream quests have it coded to guide you to that portal if you accept the quest then hearth out to Valdrakken. It’s certainly an afterthought.

Still feels like a bug, but that’s just me.
And I visit them all the time. Transmog, relic turn ins, quests, upgrades, etc.
Transmog isn’t far from that portal. And it’s right above the bank.
I always wondered why there was an empty circle up there with nothing in it. It seemed like something was supposed to be there. And now, that portal is set up perfectly in there. So to me, it seems like it was planned long ago and it just bugged out.

Or they could just play a Mage and use the Valdakken teleport spell as often as they like!
