Title + 20 char . . . . .
agreed
but before that put dual spec in the game
lol for real.
It sucks a little that alliance druids have to go to Stormwind to respec. I think it’s the only class without a trainer in Ironforge?
Pretty sure not one in org and uc, seems like i always had to drop back in Thuderbluff for my horde druid back in the day.
The free ride via Moonglade to Darnassus isn’t helpful?
It would be helpful if the trip back to the EK cities from Darn wasn’t a like 20+ minute affair, heh
Your best bet to respec if you’re trying to save time is to try to get a Darnassus summon and then Hearth back.
Honestly this isn’t a big deal most of the time, but if people are waiting on you and you’re in IF it’s like. Hey can you guys wait literally 15 minutes for me to go to SW and respec and come back? Kinda sucks, especially since a lot of the time it’s because they would like you do perform a specific role (like to respec healer or whatever).
The alliance doesn’t have the zepp trip from Undercity, it’s like. Boat, to another boat, to a flight path, it takes a while.
I get that.
Admit I have a guild bias though. They are pretty patient and I get a summon back to meet up with them once I’m done.
The free FP from Moonglade → TB is a snoozer. Can’t wait till that port is in game.
Same for Darnassus.
Another thing is, I guess this is sort of a temporary problem. In future phases SW will probably be king again and it won’t be as much an issue. But it would be nice if there were class trainers in each major city for everyone. There are plenty of reasons to travel around the world without randomly creating problems for various classes depending on where the focal point of the phase is. Like, imagine being a Paladin or Mage in p3 if Mara is the raid. Awful.
As we progress things indeed will change and possibly follow the usual (for Classic) route.
I guess I’m weird and enjoy seeing the class mechanics/fantasy of magic users (mages and warlocks) and their transportation incantations having high value again. One of the things I love about Classic.
You are not weird, this is absolutely a great point.
Actually though, what do you think of Druids having Portal: Moonglade? Pretty useless but a fun flavor spell, and it also plays into the idea that Druids have a smattering of the versions of utilities other classes have (versions of these spells).
It does seem strange that you can’t do all the druid stuff in the actual heart of druidism. I mean Remulos and the great animal spirits are hanging out there and instead I have to head to the mage quarter to take care of my druid business. Don’t seem right lol
