This quest is supposed to be available after A Horde Foothold. I cannot get Nathanos Blight whatever to give it to me.

On Wowhead there is a comment that says if you do Island Expedition first, it will lock you out of being able to get your third foothold and you cannot finish The War Campaign.

I refuse to believe that is true, but I have put two characters through the questlines and both are stuck on Pushing Our Influence. I need help, please. This has become extremely aggravating.

The Island Expedition related quests are only available on your first character through the content. All other characters just skip over them. (So, you can’t do it, but it also won’t block your progress on the rest of the campaign.)

When it comes to things blocking the War Campaign, the most likely issues are:

  1. Most of the War Campaign level requirements were bumbed up to 60 in Dragonflight, so if you’re below 60, you’ll need to level up.
  2. You need to get the Heart of Azeroth. You can pick up “A Dying World” form the Earthen Guardian NPC. (Not too far from the Boralus Inn for Alliance, and near the Zuldazar Harbor flightpath for Horde.)
  3. Unlock World Quests by completing “Uniting Zandalar”/“Uniting Kul Tiras.”
