Pushing 1800 on an alt, after having glad exp

Rbgs are poppin off at all times of the day. I think arena participation is pretty low though.

Yeah I’ll be around more often coming up this week i think. Schools slowing down. Looking forward to some bgs man.

TBH I dont think carries are as rampant as people think. Currently you can wear a glad title/mount on alts you havent even been glad with. I think people may be mistaking this for carries.

A glad on an alt is not a glad on that toon, theres a reason they’re at the rating they’re at.

I think I did about 20games for the first time in 4weeks in 2s tonight and atleast 8 of those were double glad mount at 2.1mmr

Still won but like, why are you at that mmr.

Could be why i saw that much glad mount, its really weird to have it acc wide honestly.

They’re just looking for justification to being low rated. They think they’re r1 players and gear is the only thing preventing that from happening, but when they lose its because they faced fully geared r1 players who could only be there to sell carries. Because in their minds, only they’re allowed to q up to get gear- and everyone else qing up has to push high ratings. Its all delusional fantasies to make themselves feel better.

Another thing is 3s is much more inflated in 2s right now, like 2400 in 2s is like top 202 in NA, If they gave R1 titles for 2s, 2400 would prolly be 2s r1 right now. A mere 2210 in 2s and you’re top 1k in NA.

2s is also just where a lot of ppl mess around too.

ya agree I dont like it. I think wearing a glad title/mount on a spec you havent been glad with is kinda trashy. But who knows maybe im just old school like that.

Oh I guess viewed like that it actually make more sense yeah.

And yeah no I agree with you, it devalues glad even more than the 50wins above 2.4 does

No it won’t. PVP rating is literally a season pass to 226 gear

Ya leaving 220 gear at 1800 and moving 226 gear to Glad only makes sense to me. People are buying these boosts for the 226 gear mostly. And it’d be very very hard to buy a boost to glad

Oh dear sweet summer child

Yeah in RBGs maybe. Even if you see someone carrying to 2100 in arena, it’s still harder than an 1800 carry. Not saying 2100 carries don’t exist, because Dior is living proof of that, but I don’t think they’re as common.

They need to think of something or just bring back the WoD PvP system which worked so well. PvP gear that scales up in PvP and has little to no effect on PvE. Remove rating lockouts on gear completely

While I will concede that a 2100 carry is much harder than an 1800 carry, an 1800 carry for a permanently upgradeable to 220 set for approx 800k is still immensely cheaper than having to spend 200k per dungeon to get everything done at +15

Pretty sure m+ is capped at 220 upgrades, I may be wrong

Correct but it’s still in the PTR. I think if you time every dungeon +15, you should get 226

Nah, Blizzard won’t make one avenue of people buying ilvl (pvp) inert by overincentivizing the pve carries

That’ll just cost them money

Blizzard buffs/nerfs in stupid patterns causing people to reroll. Blizzard probably made money on a boost.

Blizzard makes gear discrepancies overwhelming, making people eitger need to buy carries using gold or not get much success due to low-ilvl rejection and/or fighting rank 1s. Blizzard probably made money on the token

Rinse, repeat. It’s a vicious, yet effective cycle

PvE and PvP paid boosting needs to be disallowed. It ruins the game for everyone (whether they’re aware or not) that plays legit.

ya i wasnt boosting, i was just conquest capping, i also switched night fae so i thought pvp was good source of renown tokens and tanked from 2277 in 2s to 1800 playing with a 1500 lfg priest, i made my alt hunter to pvp on and he struggled getting to 1800, but its around 210 ilvl now. what im saying is there are a lot of geared an high rated players in 2s in the lower brackets and even more so in the 3s bracket, mostly around the 1700-1800 range due to that being the ideal boosting spot.

I feel like 2k+ in 2s is mostly duelist’s and higher, with a lot of former duelists/glad’s.

for people saying gear doesnt matter cdew, mes, and trill were playing undergeared alts last night and they were getting FARMED at 2200 mmr. the damage and healing difference is more than enough itself but that doesnt even factor in the 5-7% vers diff or the extra 5-8k hp.

I think gear is like 40% and skill is 60% in this game because if you have the gear but don’t know your rotation or what the other class is capable of then you 100% lose every match, however if you barely have gear but an elite skill set then you might get away by cheesing the game and wining. However why not play the game as intended and have both? Idk why people gotta pick one
