The change to Purge for both Priests and Shamans was overkill. We needed some of our utility to be cheaper in response to the mana regeneration change but I don’t think Blizzard realized that the DPS versions of our classes in both Shadow and Elemental can more regularly take advantage of this change.
Not to mention since both Disc and Resto healing output remains lackluster, it shifts our playstyle towards “purge-spam” which isn’t fun for the other party. And what happens when Blizzard nerfs Resto Druids in the future? The mana cost to purge will keep them grounded and eventually worthless. The change was just a bandaid in response to a Resto Druid meta and it doesn’t address the actual flaws in our classes at all.

Yeah I agree. Feel like i can just purge all day on Ele now. Gonna be a problem in the future for sure.
I played my spriest in the 2k bracket the other day. I was laughing so hard as I oomed a druid in 2mins with dispel magic spam while my mage friend gpyro’d all game. By being able to purge 2/3s of my globals per minute I just removed enemy rdruids from being in the game. Helped me feel better about only qing cheese comps on my main.
Imagine fighting Vultz’s Arcane/SP/Disc team as an Rdruid without a DH. It must be truly miserable regardless of who won.

if u play spriest and the match is >5 minutes and u didn’t press dispel at least 60 times ur teammates yell at you

Yeah, that’s pretty much how it goes against RDruid teams.
I have fought that. I legitimately whisper them VERY mean things because its ridiculously scummy to queue into something that has 0 intention of winning outside of mana.
Sounds like a good counter to the druid meta. No sympathy for druidslime

the 2 specs are super cheese when played together disc/arcane are meant for each other right now. The Disc makes up the damage loss for thea rcane spell stealing and the arcane doesnt take damage saving the disc from its weakness (ooming). The specs feed off of each other. It’s really obnoxious to play against because they dont do anything all game but spam spellsteal and live. Add in the ms dps they play with ww/armswarr/assrogue and they basically just exist and make rdruids want to go play another game.

Do you know what hypocrite means? Because I really don’t see anywhere in this where I am a hypocrite. I’m saying purge spam is really unfun to play against and that certain people and comps abuse it.
I understand I play one of the top 3 strongest ladder healers. I know my spec is really strong. But that doesn’t mean its fun to play vs some stuff. Playing vs Arcane or DH right now for me is like getting repeatedly kicked in the nuts. It’s incredibly annoying to play against.
Also you call me out for posting on an alt to troll Remixxed but here you are on an alt 110. THATS BEING A HYPOCRITE

There is no such thing as an arcane bully. They are vacuums that slurp buffs endlessly.
blizzard also decided this role shouldn’t be coveted by them and decides to let priests/shaman in on the fun.
