I’d do this, via gold or ingame shop…grinding 10 factions to revered isn’t my idea of fun.
I don’t remember anyone ever saying is MoP “This buying flying with gold is silly, I want to grind for two weeks non stop first while waiting 1 year after launch”.
Help yourself out blizzard, you know what to do.
Or maybe just make legacy content purchasable with gold. I think that would be pretty good. Legion and WoD pathfinder should be able to be bought at this point. Or even make it so you can’t purchase it until Pathfinder part 2 of the next expansion comes out. So it is REALLY legacy content.

Gold would be adjusted for inflation and be very expensive. Not to mention no longer account-wide. Then people would complain about that instead.
And putting it in the shop is a terrible idea.
Hmm do the quests I was going to do anyway and get flying for all of my characters, or pay however much it would be 48 times for all 48 of my characters. Pretty easy choice.

I guess it’s deserved, however. Blizzard continues to miss the mark. I am in the no-flying camp, but enough of you have posted from the other side to convince me that the Pathfinder solution is inadequate.
i only have 18 120s but if i had to spend 500k gold(or more) on even one of them, which i don’t have, i’d be messed up pretty bad. XD it’s not like they’d release it for like 20k g or something. look at how much the ah mount costs.

Sure. Take 5k of bc gold and scale it up to bfa values then release that as an option per character after pathfinder 2 is complete able and see what people prefer. Maybe if they did this a few less people would complain about pathfinder? Not likely but worth a try (and a laugh)
it’s amazing to me that people have so much issues with grinding rep for flying/AR but not for mounts/pets/mog/gear/toys/recipes/etc. reps have always given you cool stuff. if you want to complain about the time gate til part 2 that’s one thing. but to complain about grinding rep at all? lol
Nope. Not going to happen anymore. It is either pathfinder or no flying at all. I’ll take pathfinder thanks. Get over it already. It isn’t going to go back to gold ever, or at least no where in the near future.
Maybe because people want to fly without a timegated grind?
People do timegated grinds in other areas of the game and still play. Pathfinder is just easier than those.

No to Pathfinder with gold. Yes, to individual toon flying with gold. If you want it unlocked account wide, do Pathfinder. If you just want to fly per toon, pay.
And yes, to getting rid of Pathfinder part 2/time gate.
