Punished for Not Having Friends

Why are DPS punished for not having friends to healer duo queue with? Who thought this was a good system?

I see healers selling queues in trade chat for 5k gold a game. So I have to buy “friends” now just to play the game if I don’t want to wait 30+ mins for a queue pop??

And then we have to fight healers as double dps in the slowest time to kill ever in history on WoW.

So sad watching decent rogue+mage teams unable to dent these mongo Health pools and defensive walls while healer in disabled for 6s

Dps arent punished at all lol

Blitz is like a 5-10 min wait

5-10 minutes too long

I mean you aren’t punished lol, if you choose not to make friends in the game that is your decision. You can dm healers after a blitz match and say something like “yo ur heals were sick, you down to queue some as duo?” add them on btag if you do end up queuing. If your damage is good and you actually helped with objectives/strategy I guarantee many healers will take that offer because queuing with a good dps increases the chances of winning by quite a bit.

This isnt just a you problem, healers want to queue with dps too. I have had multiple dps reach out to me after or during a game and ask to queue, i’ve had this happen when i was just practicing or testing builds in arena skirmish too. If you aren’t anti social you can definitely get a healer friend to q. You dont just magically make friends lol, put in a little bit of effort.

i don’t have an opinion on the topic but i love the thread name it made me laugh

This is entirely a skill issue.

It’s your fault for having a hilarious character name, adorable guild name and a cute transmog.

Maybe if you were less intimidating, healers would queue with you for free.

probably no teeth left but it’s only $20 I guess

Giving healers an incentive to queue up and deal with players like you is FAR more important than your social anxiety.

I made friends by making lfg groups, being honest about my xp and then not being a doucher if we lose. It was actually pretty easy to find people to play with at every level, and once I got to, say, 2.4k, or any other milestone rating (ie, 1800, 2k, 2.2k) I would just keep trying to play with better people and improve. Some of the people I played with at lower ratings got better and I kept playing with them, some didn’t so I’d queue with them on alts and still have a good time.

But ya, tldr
-use lfg
-be honest about your skill level
-play with people around your current skill level
-dont rage

Have you tried making forum posts about how every game is secretly overseen and orchestrated by a sinister r1/mglad rmt cabal?

That may honestly get you some likes and convince people to queue with you.
