i heard it only drops off demons and undead. i got one off a succubus elite in winterspring.
I was actually kidding because that’s the only helpful comments I’ve ever seen “satyr in felwood” lol.

Got one yesterday in the Western Plaguelands off of a Scarlet Lumberjack.
Yep, they have lumberjacks, too. I want to fight a Scarlet Cable Guy.
Edit: And I did seriously get one off of a lumberjack.

Mob in EPL Tyr’s Hand dropped the pumpkin bag 2 days ago.
I haven’t done any Halloween related quests.
I need to get on with farmin’!
Got mine in WPL off an undead at one of the cauldron farms. I didn’t know the pumpkin bag was a thing, so wasn’t expecting it.
I did not kill that many mobs, probably around 10. I was just questing, not looking for a drop.
That’s actually a lucky drop for you. I talked with mages aoe farming those farms in wpl for 8hrs a day this past weekend and never seeing one pumpkin bag.
I think the rng on this bag is broken.
Got one killing spellbinders for the crusader enchant, was excited to see that they made it into the game.
According to wowhead Dark Keeper Vorfalk in BRD has ~3% drop rate with a 1/31 count. Might be a decent thing to keep in mind. Everything else has a slew of places with extremely low counts. 1/10k+
i had one drop yesterday from the demons in Felwood. i didn’t even know it was a thing until i saw it. i was farming for BiS mats. must’ve killed over 100 before it dropped.
I have only seen one drop and it was in Dire Maul, I have murdered plenty of level 50+ mobs and I have seen nothing. Makes me a sad panda.

With this drop rate it should be a 36er 
I got one this morning off of one of the mobs for the Unfinished Business questline in WP.
I think it was a Scarlet Invoker. She was one of the mobs guarding one of the quest targets, Huntsman Radley.
Was he swinging from tree to tree, taking down the larch, the mighty sequoia?
Well no, but I think he was wondering why Mograine and Whitemane were the bosses of the Scarlet Monastery while he was relegated to chopping down trees in the Plaguelands.
