I am interested in playing a MMORPG. RPG is something I can do with a pen and paper.
The choice should matter. Why is it a big deal if 1 covenant outshines another it’s a freaking game. Without damage meters you probably wouldn’t even notice and be making a fuss.
Covenants -ARE- an RPG element. Being declined from groups because they’re discriminatory toward your covenant is totally in fitting with ‘RPG elements’. Who gives a crap about gameplay?
I agree, the choice should matter.
Remove power from them and make them permanent. No swapping at all. I’m all for meaningful choice.
These statements cannot be both true
- Covenant are Meaningful Choice
- Covenants can be swapped weekly.
I actually lol’d thank you!
Would be nice to see them remove all damage from covenants honestly. Just make it a flair preference.
Great so you agree with us?

Another winner added to this pathetic thread.
I actually agree. I severely dislike borrowed power. Covenants being purely cosmetic would make me INSANELY happy.
I don’t agree that we should be allowed to freely swap. Your choice should represent your character. It should have meaning.
Because maybe you didn’t get a chance to read the original post. I’ll quote and highlight part of it. Hope this helps!
So you want them to basically add another row of talents?
Exactly, we are well overdue for a new row of talents and at least this way we get to keep them in two years.
Why do you oppose that? Still lets covenants be meaningful choice and expands skill ceilings for everyone.
You say you would like to see the damage component removed from covenants and that is what the ripcord movement is about . It’s not about jumping from covenant to covenant without restrictions.
We want to pick our covenant to represent and stay with them we want the rp aspect but not at the cost of game play.
Daark incoming

CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE RIP CORD IS PULLING?
Did you really just change my quote. Dude, you’re a giant liar.

Swapping covenants for every boss in the raid is not gona be fun
Daark is quitting, unfortunate. His warrior was quite a big dam guy.
He was absolutely on the wrong side of history for this thread though.
When I posted that I saw he was typing something and we all know what it means when someone in GD goes I’m quitting
GD I’m quitting = see you next expansion and or patch
Thats how you do it, right?
