Once again with the criticizing an aspect of the game means people hate the game . No it doesn’t.
It means we hate that aspect of it. These borrowed power systems like Legion Legendaries , Azerite gear and soon to be the covenants have all launched with issues that have been pointed out before the launch and every time people like you and the other white knights have defended them until you actually had to use them .
None of you ever learn your lesson even after you all have been caught in the train wreck . Each time a new system comes out you all go “Go Team Blizz don’t change anything” . Then once it hits you see the problem and go Blizz you need to fix it and then the next one is announced and then it’s rinse and repeat.
All this was about was getting ahead of the problem and fixing it before others would have to suffer through another broken system .
So to be honest I expect a lot of you with the I Ion posters on their walls to be joining team ripcord before patch 9.1.
I’m genuinely concerned about you. Insulting other people for absolutely no reason leads me to believe you have serious issues with self-esteem. I used to be like that, so I can understand where you’re coming from. Then I worked on myself and decided to just be happy with who I am, and now I don’t feel the need to insult strangers in order to bring them down so I can feel better by comparison. It was so much more effective to just bring myself up than trying (futilely) to bring others down. I implore you to take a break from these forums and spend some time thinking about all of your good qualities (I’m sure there are many) and what makes you a worthy human being.
I realize this will have no impact on you and you will most likely just insult me again. But know that I sincerely care about your well being.
Just as you want WoW to succeed, so do we, but at different things. Other MMO’s are gaining popularity outside of raiding and instanced content; while WoW only keeps players because of it’s end game content.
Other MMO’s have embraced the idea of limited power. Whether it be through mechanical limitations like ability slots, or the design itself, like leveling individual weapon type skills and class abilities with limited point allotment.
WoW has essentially patched the complexity out of the game while throwing more and more power on the player for merely hitting a certain level.
Your prescience is only surpassed by your ability to see history. There’s no revisionist fixing the damage that alternative advancement rented power (AARP) has wrought in WoW.
I like how you are concerned for a guy not white-knighting serial whiners on a message board.
I like how you’re not concerned at all with a group of individuals making dozens to hundreds of posts per day for months on end while giving their money and time to the company they are constantly rallying against.
The fact that you think it is ok for people to commit to a choice, spend time investing in progressing that choice, then have its relative value changed is ok and that people shouldn’t be upset about it is absolutely unbelievable.
It’s not ok to make a choice based on a set of data and then have that data change the following day. For that to happen, Blizzard have failed.
