They did especially for world ranking corruptions absolutely were a pay 2 win system prior to vendor introduction.
I’ve literally noped out of lfr nzoth after trying to explain it and had a player pull mid explanation because “bored we will get stacks and it will die” literally they just wanted to stack determination and have it carry them.
Is thar that supposed to be impressive or something?
No it wasn’t. Because Limit and the rest of the idiots that do World First announced everything before 8.3 dropped, players on their servers farmed nothing but corrupted gear, turned around, and sold it for a marked up price because these same idiots will buy them.
Preach was wrong. Limit was butthurt. Stop catering to these people.
And they were just nerfed, so what is the issue?
So here’s what I honestly think is at play. The devs refuse to admit attempting to remove flight is what tanked subs in wod. So now they are trying to make the game more restrictive because that was why players left in their view they wanted those old school restrictions. Is this incredibly dumb absolutely but blizz has shown they are capable of incredibly dumb leaps in logic.
Turn off DBM…
Did it mean something before?
Absolutely. I’ve said it many times before, but the other stuff people “hated” about WoD, which usually comes down to a lack of endgame content, would not have made such a negative impression if Blizzard had not done their horrendous no-flight rollout.
The sneaky way it was announced, the fighting with customers over initial backlash, and the vindictive way they rolled out Pathfinder killed every ounce of goodwill many customers had. If it hadn’t, most of the other stuff in WoD would have been forgiven.
Lols yeah bud they farmed 460 heroic corrupted gear out in the world it’s not like the section before the first bosses specifically dropped super low amounts of gear so that it couldn’t be farmed or anything.
The prices outside of the two socket ring stayed relatively stable until vendor introduction. TD would go for well over a mil guarenteed on a 460 item.
Still wouldn’t be hard plenty of telegraphing the only time you absolutely need dbm is stuff like archimonde and that was more weak aura than dbm.
Instead of letting the covenant abilities be fun let’s just gut them instead of giving people the option to switch and play all the content of SLs. Sounds like a Blizz decision to me…
Removes flight cause they think we skip their “content”
Locks actual content behind a “choice”
Just when I think there is hope for Blizz they go and pull more bone headed, clearly bad ideas because their design philosophy trump common sense…
And yet Limit and the rest of the idiots paid millions of gold to get the gear other people farmed. Watching Preach cry was the best.
You can’t complain that things are easy when you have mods that take the difficulty away.
‘MyTHiC RaiDinG iS Sooooo HaRd!’
Wait, the updates finished on Weak Aura and DBM, where’s my calculator?
It is quite simple really. We will outlast the current “devs”.
Mother time is on our side and the king of kings of AAA MMORPGs aka WoW will emerge from this dark period into a new golden age.
I enjoy how one of my skills from one covenant will literally take me out of combat and reset the mob when I use it solo in a fight.
Basically it is a PVP ability but BlizZard doesn’t want to admit that some covenant abilities are pure PVP, dungeons/raids, solo, etc.
Can it be used in PVE instances? Sure, but outside of that you are looking at a very niche covenant ability.
Having a second Vanish? Yea, you’re not thinking that hard if you think that wouldn’t be helpful in PvE.
Used in niche situations which undermines your entire argument for defending covenant locking. But just like last time you will not reply.
It can be used in plenty of situations, but like most every other time Alex, you’ll just post the same trite.
Just so long as you aren’t trying to solo something.
Prove it.
Provide evidence it can be used in “plenty of situations”.
We will be waiting!
