Should be an addon that tracks people that leave group content. Just saying.

IRL emergencies are more important than group in a video game. If my kid gets hurt mid-dungeon, I’m gonna bounce from the dungeon any day of the week. My kid is more important than your key.

What are you doing that your child is being left unattended while you play video games?

I agree.

And I bet you still don’t leave grouped content as much as people that don’t care about other people.

I’m not suggesting it for people with the occasional issue.

I’m suggesting to deal with toxic or lazy people.

How many kids have you had?

Get Blizzard to track is and I am sure IO will pick it up. They can’t track something they are not informed about.

Parenting is a 24/7 full time job.

I’m glad you agree that a deserter penalty is entirely appropriate for ditching a key then.

You must not have kids to ask this question. Think back to your own childhood and how often you might have been hurt growing up.

I can think of several examples myself, like brother and I went outside and fell out of a tree, broke his arm.

Sure, but I assume people wouldnt really care about leaving the odd dungeon. They are looking for persistent leavers.

That’s right. I don’t have kids because I enjoy having free time. A responsible parent watches their child. That’s their job. If I did have a child I’d never be neglecting them as they get hurt while playing video games.

Exactly my point.

There are people with occasional IRL issues… And then there are people who sign up for groups with only 30 min to play, people who leave keys for whatever toxic reason you can think of, etc.

Why is your kid unattended while you’re playing WoW

nah thanks… what for?

You having to leave for an emergency isn’t a huge issue, unless you are having them every other day in which case you have bigger issues to worry about.

LMAO…I guess you won that argument fair and square.

why shouldnt we leave keys if theya re going to fail to be timed?

Because group content is about more than yourself.

I totally think you should be able to leave without penalty, once the timer has expired. But now that they are adding valor points and even a second item in the box for untimed keys, I am not sure why you would.

One it shows how much of a team player you are

Two you’re getting valor points and a failed key can still get you a piece of gear
