Pugging: Good, or bad?

My experiences with pugs/LFG have varied. Sometimes uneventful, but successful. Sometimes extremely stressful, sometimes others in the group were arguing. Is this variance similar for many others of you?

It really depends since its random who you get. Making my own groups i’ve had some pretty nice people some helpful and patient, it definitely is stressful if you’re the one leading the group. Though there are some pugs where everyone joins 1 thing goes wrong and everyone leaves like a dam breaking.

So pugs/pugging is only good depending on who decides to join it

Pugs are necessary for most people. So they’re good, but it’s still basically like any
other game with matchmaking so you have to go into it with that mindset.

Contrary to GDs, pugging in WOW isn’t really that bad, like 90% of my M+ or pug raid is a good experience.

Just have to know which group is legit and which one is a trap.

Yeah, I’ve noticed a lot of variance. Most are pleasant, but then there was the portion that’s not so pleasant lol.

If the group says “Big Dick”. Don’t join it. Then you will have a good experience

This is a broad question, but I avoid pugs like the plague. I get so many rushy donkeys when I queue that the experience is not worth the anger.

Overall bad. Better to find a stable group.

Other than everyone being in a hurry, I haven’t had much trouble with pugs. But I play dk, the slowest (but most fashionable) of all tanks.

Pugging is great if you build a network of at least a handful of competent players.
