PUG life sucks

Title.

Dealing with randos all day sucks, and not having time to dedicate to a guild/group sucks even more

Not that bad. I’ve pugged raids and m+ for years now. I can’t commit to a fixed schedule. Just have to play the pug game. Have to remember they don’t know you and you’re only as good as the numbers on your tooltip.

It’s the suckiest of the suck when it comes to end game content in WoW.

Send friend requests to players after a good run.

That would require social skills, which 99% of players lack.

Or slum it and carry lowbies. Make them think you’re a great player and think they can reach out to you for runs. Build a friendship.

Find a social guild where people aren’t expected to work to a schedule but still do runs together when able. Even if you can’t get a full group, three guildies running LFG dungeons is much better than being alone.

/joins guild
/joins discord

@guild members(or more appropriate ping): “anyone want to run some M+?”

oof so time consuming.

It’s a waste of time to develop friends in a game who will just quit later.

Is a waste of time to make friends in real life who will just die later? Relationships don’t have to last forever. The point is to enjoy the time you have with them.

Now that’s a stretch if I have ever seen one. :joy:

Once you get to a certain ilvl the game opens up more, but still at huge disadvantage compared to players that get carried by guilds and groups

More like “wanna do M+?”

You build up a friendship in WoW and some day they disappear. Doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the time in between. Avoiding friendships because it won’t last forever doesn’t make sense to me.

Do you guys not have friends?

How is there not a Discord or Community out there yet that helps out with group stuffs? Or are there just too many and none end up being all that helpful?

I know there’s one popular one out there… I just can’t remember the name. One of the members posted here once and helped people get friendship birb, I think.

Having to spend the time making friends in a game just so you can have a decent end game experience.

Making friends is an experience in itself. If you don’t like making friends, the issue isn’t the game or them. It’s you.

I don’t play a game to make friends. I play a game to simply play a game. :joy:
