should i be using private network or public network? I’m on private now but i was wondering if i switched to public if it would help with a little bit of lag ive been experiencing.
is opening to public network dangerous for my pc? just not worth it?

basically, will i get a faster connection on a private or public network is what im asking.
Keeping it private is the best option, your upload/download speeds should not really be affected either way however playing on a public network would make your pc easily discoverable by people on the same network which could be undesireable.
Are you talking about private and public networks as identified in Windows? That mostly affects whether your device is visible to others on the network. There should be no performance impact.
