“Jungle Remedy” works on higher level poisons and diseases
Oily Blackmouth and Firefin snapper are worth far more to an Alchemist than they are as vendor trash

Not yet. 
I am an alchemist and I literally throw my firefin snappers away. They arent worth the bag space compared to just fishing longer.

Light feathers can be farmed easily in several places, notably the harpy cave in Thousand Needles. You can farm 4-5 stacks in an hour if you are efficient. As a mage or priest, this should last you a week or two.
Fadeleaf can easily be farmed in several places, such as Alterac Mountains while you are waiting for your AV queues to pop. It can also be found via pickpocketing.
It’s very easy to invest a small amount of time and never have to buy from the AH. I hate to see people overpay for this stuff…
Also in the NW corner of the Barrens at a much lower level.
Save all the wool. You are going to need it.
Fadeleaf spawns in every sm library and armory courtyard. As a rogue you can quickly do 5 resets. You might have enough time in between bg queues.
