They added haste pots/destro pots to mark of illidari vendor though. Small victories.
Maybe they’ll add a welfare epics vendor so you stop crying.

… Yes, they said they’re testing adding them. Usually the thing you’re testing is only for the duration of the test as the following decision is dependent on that test.
The PTR has always had a potion vendor. They wouldn’t add this if they weren’t testing the waters to implement in the game.

No, they added them to facilitate testing the raids. There’s no way they would make a change like that permanent. People don’t generally spend time grinding mats and crafting on the PTRs.
You can already buy infinite haste postions from the shatt vendor on the PTR. There would be zero reason to add them to the marks vendor just for PTR testing.

They’re considering adding these to the marks of illidari vendors that we used to just buy flasks from.
Curious what the price per pot is going to be.
Surely blizz considers the price of 1 illidari mark to 1 flask and adjusts the illidari marks for hast/destro pots appropriately.
Currently it is 1 mark for 10 pots.

What, exactly, do you think is accomplished by having you buy a potion for a currency from the new raid on the PTR, instead of just having them on the vendor like every other PTR for no special currency?

Agree with you. I have to say though, some of the responses you’re getting are so angsty and arrogant yet completely wrong. Just baffling.

EDIT: I found the unedited post on Wowhead (which is where I first saw it): “For this raid test, we’re adding Haste and Destruction potions to be redeemable along side the normally available flasks with the the mark of illidari that come with Phase 3.”
This made it seem a lot more temporary.
If this makes it into the live version, that’s great for the game. Another way to create haste and destroy pots without relying on the limited herbs.
One of the biggest complaints we see is the price of these pots and this should definitely help bring them down.
It makes sense why Blizzard removed all customer service. They had to deal with nonsense like this for way too long.

The average player can barely read bro.
Generally if they want people to have access to stuff for the sole purpose of testing they just put them on a vendor for free. Like, I get why you thought the wording meant it was temporary, but logicallyt there’s no reason to make people grind marks solely for the sake of testing the raid.
This may seem controversial but are they not removing a way for potion masters from making gold by doing this? Should they put all items here like nether cleft armor spell thread cut gems ect?
