So, some minor notes.
-with this nelf we can have better hopes that teldrassil will not be forgotten.
-it appears that tyrande is using most of elune’s powers
-there seems to be some discontent between humans and nelfs.
as a minor note, the horde equivalent to teldrassil is (lol) taurajo!
and the earth mother would be the equivalent of elune.
(also thanks to Portergauge for the screenshots)
so… are we going to have more juicy stuff from the profession questlines ?
People are gonna qq (perhaps rightfully so) about these, but it gives more context into the world, and that’s generally always a good thing imo. These rando quests give the writers, at the very least, some room to flesh out a few things that can’t really be done in the overarching big quest lines.
So how did that altercation went down? What did the human do?
Eh, doesnt surprise me. Blizz kinda lied to both factions, they said both were heroic but in reality the horde are villains and the alliance are victims
Hmm. This is the first time we’ve heard of any limit of Elune’s powers. Interesting.
I mean, obviously there was a limit, it’d be dumb if she was all powerful and no one was asking for that, but that power ceiling is admittingly lower than I expected.
Wait, the Earth Mother? I would’ve thought they’d gone with An’she, but the Earth Mother is certainly interesting… does the blessing work?
It’ll continue to be. Keep in mind, that any “Horde breaking” to avenge Teldrasil will likely never happen. At most they can only hope to kill Sylvanas while the rest of the Horde continues on, and the unsatisified alliance masses will continue to beat the “Remember Teldrasil!!!” rallying drum hoping someday Blizzard notices.
Elune has never really done anything to show that she has any significant god level powers. When one of her followers asked for help in the Felwood she gave her a Scythe (that we know know was created by mortal hands) that summoned Worgen who turned on her. When Teldrassil burned she didn’t appear to anyone who survived.
Call these events inconsequential or simply flavor, but isn’t this what many of us have wanted? A recognition of the broader story by randos we run into?
Yes. TJ and Human Greed are undertones that should not dominate the entire narrative. But mentioning it now and then where it fits is great.
