My hope is ret pally is like druids on early beta stage, no feedback because the class need more than tweaks or minor adjusments, hope we get it soon.
Hopefully there will be further iterations of the patch and class changes after the holidays

Ret is the least of your problems. Find it funny when people loss in pvp or on the dps meters their immediate response is to go to that class forums and cry nerf said class. Spoiler there will always be a class better than the one you are playing because at some point it becomes a skill issue.

Nice to see all your sources and facts telling us how it is wrong.
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/zone/rankings/31 that rankings? Top 10? nope. Top 50? nope. The first paladin is 69th. The next is 123rd. So there is literally 1 paladin in the top 100. I can find multiple examples of the other classes in the top 100 comparatively.
So what then do you need to go to a specific fight to try and prove it? Eranog? Top 10? nope. 11th. Terros? Nope. 39th. Primal council? nothing in the top 100.
So where are all these top DPS?

Like, It won’t surprise me if Druids see changes and overhauls every weekly reset at this point.
They are one of the most played and meta classes, best healer solid tank and feral is good. They need to keep them happy afterall.

You might want to take a careful look at those logs and what they show.
They are showing a typical Ret pattern - looking good if you consider the best parses, but overall showing merely above average DPS. This is normal at this point in a Legion-onwards expansion, and unless there’s something I’ve missed changing the way we scale, we’ll fall off over the course of this tier/season, and in subsequent seasons we won’t be above average and by the end of the expansion will be scraping the floor. Again.
The thing about Hunter is that being a pure DPS they have two other specs to fall back on if DPS on one is unacceptable. Paladins (like Priests) do not have this luxury - if Ret fails, Paladins fail at DPS as an entire class.
