Pt 9000 of begging blizzard to do another MMR increase

blizz pls i am begging you, you wanna save the pvp bracket bring back shadowlands levels of inflation and let people go crazy.
no reason to add conquest boxes finally when all of the brackets are dead due to deflation pepela

Giving people free rewards does not help participation. It’s okay to have to work for things.

having multi r1 players be right at 2400 or just above it makes it almost impossible for the rest of the ladder have a chance at the rating at all

seeing that youre a very seasoned mglad that has yet to break 2300 in any bracket this far along into this season exactly proves my point, you yourself should be well above 2400 at this point in any bracket you choose to queue in

Having things higher initially and lower later might be cool to get people pressing queue.

We all gonna be 400 points higher by the time the season ends.

Most multi r1 players are around 26 and 2700, no? Also, shouldn’t you have to beat gladiator players to be a gladiator?

Why?? I dont think I should be 2400 right now at all.

Most of my 3s games have been boomy/dh/rsham and my last Q session was no-voice boomy/sp/rsham. I’m playing weaker comps with no communication and we were making mistakes accordingly.

I think we went 10-10 at 2350 mmr-ish, so as far as I’m convinced my cr is exactly where it should be. If I take 10 steps forward and 10 steps back, I should be in the exact same place, regardless of how much I’ve walked before.

My mmr was around 2400 even though my cr hasn’t caught up yet, but I’m exactly where I should be IMO. It doesn’t matter how many glads or r1 titles someone has, what matters is how they’re playing at that time.

Shuffle is a bit different, I’m 2530 mmr after my last lobby (5-1 shoulda been 6-0 but some hunter griefed me and raged at me post game for “making him go 1-5”) so I’d just need to q more. That being said, the other players in my lobby where the same mmr and ranged from 22 to 2500 cr.

I also think it’s WAY more healthy for the game for r1 to be 2.7-2.8k when glad is 2400 then glad being 2400 and r1 being 3600.

looks at blitz

Bro. I had a ret paladin RAGE at me in shuffle while going 0-6 and that we were all awful boosted REDACTED REDACTED REDACTEDS because he was 2600 this season… in blitz
In an 1800 fresh character mmr lobby where he had played 66 games…

I think people forget we’re like 3-4 months away from season end.

Yeah, conquest was only just uncapped an hour or two ago.

Man, I wish they let us just xfer conquest instead of buying the gamba chests.

And/or allow conquest for bloodstones. Feels kinda wasteful to roll rng chests when you already get a free weapon, 2-3 crafts, and bloody token gear is so good.

This is all that matters to me now.

Who said anything about free rewards? MMR is 300 points deflated from where it should be at this point in the season because of low participation. Even more so for healers in solo shuffle where the healer MMR is significantly deflated compared to DPS MMR. We need participation if we want PVP to survive.

The majority of people have, for many years, not pushed for glad until the end of a season

Why? What makes you say mmr is low? What’s wrong with R1 being 2.8-3k instead of 3.2-3.6k? Why does it need to inflate 300 points?

That’s true and I think most wow veterans get this and aren’t super bothered by it. I think for the majority of players though that it’s just frustrating to constantly go from breezing by your goals to struggling to reach them, for no good reason :frowning:

What are you smoking?

R1 in 3s now is 2513 CR

R1 average across all DPS specs in solo shuffle now is 2515.81 CR

R1 average across all healer specs in solo shuffle now is 2436.43 CR

If R1 were 2.8k-3k it would be absolutely fine. But it isn’t. No one is asking for it to be 3.2-3.6k.

It eventually will be.
