… but if you go to the launcher, it’s there. You can install and play.

edit: We were talking about it in my guild, the speculation was that you could DOWNLOAD it … to be PREPARED… but you would still have to WAIT for your official invite.
Nope. If it’s there, you can log in and play. So don’t wait for an email-- check the launcher!

I stream but i didnt get in… But i only stream when im bored for funzies so obviously streamers dont get in automagically

It has been this way for a while now, you do not need to receive an email, simply check your launcher and see if you can download it. The emails tend to go out later in the evening.

I haven’t seen an email notification about beta access with any of the past several expansions, although I get selected every time.
I mean, maybe that’s why I got it, but I honestly haven’t streamed WoW in probably about over 2 years now, so I highly doubt that’s why .
If they still do this, it’s probably AFTER they’ve toggled all the bnet accounts for access to the beta forums. My beta account does not yet have access to those forums, but my alpha account does.
So beta started then? I would have thought they’d have announced that pretty boldly. Anyway grats on beta, I checked my launcher and email - nothing.
Not to say I’m surprised last beta I got in was WoD and that was given to me 2 weeks before they ended that beta.
It’s a preliminary test of the beta, probably for stability.
I seriously doubt I’d be getting the beta, since I didn’t sign up for it.
I got my email for SL’s Beta 3 months after launch. Was pretty funny.
