Just do yourselves a favor, save yourselves the headache.
Don’t look at the forums. Play the game how you want. These people are only going to meet you with derision and toxicity. They’re not going to sympathize with you. They’re not going to take you seriously. Nothing you say will ever convince them they’re wrong to think how they do.
You can combat the hostility by just ignoring it and not letting it affect you.
When TBC Classic’s community crashes and burns, they won’t see themselves as the problem. They’ll just keep blaming you.

I haven’t even seen people saying rude things to boosters in game.
Think it’s a whiny minority

I’ve seen a lot of anti-boost in pvp. Makes me lol.
Honestly if you’re that mad at boosting, direct your anger at blizzard and cancel your subscription. (
I have the collector’s edition version of vanilla wow, gives me a diablo, panda, or zergling pet. We’ve been able to pay for extra crap since before the game even launched

I am still confused, who is being hated on more, the mage maraudon boosted individual or the immediate to 58 paid boosted individual? I am 100% cool with people that boosted toons by paying mages for services. I think buying the 58 boost is kind of dumb, but I always giggle when I think about the people who boosted a toon to 58 because they said they don’t have the time to level the toon normally. Just like Madseason mentioned, how the F are these people going to be able to handle grinding the attunements for tbc raid content? The deluxe edition is a joke, its not anyone being elitist, it is just a fact.

Everyone’s going to forget about the whole boosting thing 5 seconds into the expansion anyways.
Wow you’re such a victim! You guys should post 50 more threads about how hard it is for you

nope. Not after blizz caved in and gave extra honor to the crybabies and lowered the price of the clones.
they are listening to the people whine on these forums. So i will continue to make sure the other side is heard.
Well don’t come to my server then, people here hate boosters.
typical stream viewer. Needing the streamer to tell them how to think.

Lol yeah 35 per clone was really reasonable and I can’t see how they folded on that

He has played the game for many years more then myself and made a solid video around the tbc boost idea.

“Think for yourself”
Yeah you clearly have no idea how any anthropology works. Did you “think for yourself” when you learned how to use cutlery? A toilet? Map a parabola?
No. You learned through seeing other people who had better experience with the task work through the problem.
Your platitudes are specious, just like your defence for boosting.
eh. Mage boosts have been a huge community killer. Community is one of the main reasons people come to classic instead of retail. Maybe if we just deleted mages and replaced them with paid boosts it’ll fix the community problem. Theyre really only good for food and water and ports in TBC anyway

I read this is Moira Rose’s voice. Highly recommend.
You make my mage heart sad, Wood.
That said I don’t boost people, I just pvp.
I quit early into phase three, came back for TBC. Currently in a guild with a bunch of TBC babies all boosted. Over a hundred of em on grobbulos, almost all of them went to community as the reason they wanna play classic. We’ve seen playerbase die consistently for months due to the “lack of community” as its “borderline impossible” to find leveling groups as a dps new to classic. The boosts IMO are the best thing blizzard could have done to fix the problem THE PLAYERS WHO ARE MAGES created.
Obvi not all mages, but this is a very real thing and classic andys like to poo on it, but it might just keep the servers populated for long while.
The mount/items/hearth i dont agree with, but the boosts are the best idea blizzard has had since classic release.

his video was nothing more than him having a conversation with himself. If he had done a video with me in it, i would have torn apart every one of his points. His whole video was silly.
Also, he may have played the game many more years than yourself. Big deal. he was a little kid most of those years. he hasn’t played the game many more years than i did. Thats why i see right through his false, one sided arguments. I have leveled more toons than i care to count. You think I am going to listen to madseason tell me what i am missing by not leveling. His whole argument is based on skipping content. But his whole skipping content can be thrown right back in his face by asking him if he levels a character in TBC, is he going to do all of the level 60 quests. Is he going to craft all of the high level patterns. Is he going to run Molten Core, BWL, AQ40, NAXX… Or is he going to skip all of that and walk through the portal at 58. he is a nerd and just trying to get clicks.
“I would have torn apart every one of his points”
Proceeds to do none of that.
