Finally a minor albeit stealth fix for something incredibly stupid and silly. Thank you to whomever among the devs found the common sense to do the right thing here. It was so weird that this toy required basically the equivalent of Draenor Pathfinder to get.
I didn’t even know the map existed lol.
You can get maps for all the expansions now, and unlike the first ones for Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor which tended to give you only the most basic flight path for each zone, these give you pretty much all of them.
They changed those too, they give all the flight paths now and even discover the maps + give you the exploration achievements.
The achievement spam in guild from people’s alts using all these was funny at first but now just annoying. 
Yeah… it can be. But at least it’s mostly over.
Correction, it DOES need Explorer. The new explorer achievement that is, which is the same type as any of the previous explorer achievement. What we knew as shadowlands explorer has been renamed Voyager.
