If Blizzard didn’t want people to do this they could easily leash the mobs to drop at a certain distance or the border of a zone. This would make more sense than unnecessarily suspending accounts which can cause more unsubs.

What people said, shortstack, was that people are not banned when kiting mobs which is a use of the players toolkit plus it was not banned behavior in Vanilla or Era.
This screen cap does not mean the individual postíng it is not able to or allowed to report nor was that previously stated. I doubt however that message changes anything.
We also don’t know exactly what behavior was reported so again that may not have anything to do with kiting. Could have been gold selling for all we know.

We don’t even know if action was really taken at all. I mean, unless you believe everything a blizz employee has ever said to you or us as a group.
Seems to me blizzard decided to bluff with the griefer ie the guy reporting people because his feelings were hurt and he likes to be the elwynn forest police. This has existed since vanilla and kitting mobs is part of the game. Learn to adapt instead of constantly crying.
For 17 years this had been known and players have adapted. Technically YOU are the griefer reporting people becausevit makes you feel good
