The lighting is actually separate from the candle itself. Whether the candle adds to the graphical load depends on the type of occlusion and how detailed the occluded scenery is.

I knew the recipe 45+ years ago but lost it shortly after then, and been looking for it since. Thanks for the comment, it set me on the right track for the recipe, and yes, the reply about the shredded coconut was on point too. The boil time was exactly one minute as I recall.
