True, wow as a game is very lazy with the amount of skins that come out per patch. The only way to actually look good is to wear sets. The majority of the “transmog” community and I swear this exists prides themselves in mix matching random quest gear that is kind of the same color as a set pieces helmet and shoulders.
It’s truly a bizarre to me that full sets are shunned and that belt is slightly too low rez for those shoulders bro!

Plate gear is the hardest armor type to mix and match imo. It’s not just about colors for plate. A lot of plate gear has certain patterns and texturing in the design that can look wonky if not used with the set. Cloth and leather are much easier, and for the most part mail too. I just wish cloth had an option where we could hide the skirt part of robes. That would unlock so many new mog options for me.
They should release armor dyes and being able to transmog stuff out of your armor type

Ya. I swear 90% of players are a female model with engineering goggles, half the pieces hidden, and some skin-tight pieces with so few pixels you can actually count them and then be like, “omg fit so good”.
