PSA - Maintain Forum Trust Level 3

Eh sounds pretty lame to me, call me when u get some vanilla cream cupcakes.

How far back is it counted? Because I’m pretty sure I was most active on my pally, but most recently (legion main) my monk.

Trust levels are part of the core software. This software is not developed by Blizzard and changing the Trust Level functionality is probably not worth the time investment.

" I cant control my trust level."

To be fair, post count doesn’t really matter, it’s more about days visited and amount of posts read.

It counts the last 100 days for the forum stats you need to get trust 3. But overall, the trust system for the WoW forums only started last November when the forums migrated here. There was no trust system before that, and any activity before then doesn’t mean anything.

Can confirm, lost my everything forums-wise when I became a Zandalari.

Oh well.

So if I lost my trust level 3 because I got banned, can I get it on another alt who hasn’t been banned?

:breast_feeding:

How can you even keep track of it? Nothing seems to hint at a trust level in my account or on the forums.

You can see your level by going to your profile… and adding “.json” to the end of the URL. That will return all of your info in a JSON. You can see your level there.

Here is yours:

Oh damn.

Guess I need to get back into making nonsense posts.

The actual post count requirement is really low. And you don’t even have to create any topics. It’s mostly reading posts/topics and making sure you visit the forums once a day that matters. You need to get a handful of likes and give them too, but that’s easy to keep up with.

I can’t even post in my own thread that I made in the Trust Level 3 lounge because I race changed. It’s amazing how poorly thought out this was.

It doesn’t really have anything with days visits imo. I now have 123 days visit, almost 124 when it switches over in a few hours, which means the most I have missed is 1-3 days out of 4 months, but yet my trust level 3 was removed.

I think it has more to do with post reads, once I went over the 20K, I cut back. I have better things to do with my time (LIKE PLAY THE ACTUAL GAME) than try to read 20K posts every 50 days.

Anyways, FOR ME, it’s not worth it just to post some links, if nothing else I will be LESS ACTIVE on the forums.

This is a good way to may sure the forums are filled by a handful of obsessive posters. Forums are a game also apparently

They are looking into making forum changes for quality of life for us, and to change some stuff for them. Based on blue posts from another section, they are going to try to make it so all characters are counted as one poster (tied by account) so that things such as likes and flags are shared and not individual to each character you post on, as well as trust level carrying over to each character.

It has to do with both. You have to have read 20k posts in the last 100 days and had to have visited the forums at least 50 out of those 100 days.
