This is likely a much faster way to cap conquest than BG’s. And I must admit, they turned out to be more fun than I thought they would be.

Bet rated BGs will be faster… plus, BGs!
Those queues were longer than 10/15 man BG queues for me when I was trying to get one win for the essence on my alt. The amount of conquest you get is pretty nominal on a loss- I wouldn’t rate it as being more efficient unless you have a solid team of three that knows what they’re doing.

I looked throughout the evening in lfg for rated and there was less than 10 total in the few hours I was on.
Either way too high cr and even the yolo’s you had to link 2.1 about.

Despite all the hate for islands, I had no idea you got conquest for wins, let alone losses. Just trying to let people know.

I’ve ran them when I couldn’t find an rbg group since all the ones I ran with kept swapping horde 
I just returned from a long hiatus, and somehow missed this whole islands thing. I’ve mostly been doing PvP dailies in BG’s, which has been hit or miss in terms of both wait times and winning.
What’s the rate in which you get Conquest through these island things?
The biggest one I think people miss is the secret war chest from invasions, it’s separate from the airdrop chests and only spawns in 3 set locations per zone while the invasion is on.
50 for a win and 20-35 for a loss (higher if it is closer)
Each island takes 10-15min? Feels faster than a regular BG.
A reliable way to get conquest. And after I cap, I have more fun in BG’s even if we are losing.
You know its 2 different teams of players right?
It shares conquest reward. So if you looted an airdrop then no conquest will be in the secret supply and vice versa
