I wager it’d be more exciting if they were easier to get. I’ve never even seen the scavenger trainee, and even if I had, I doubt I’d have the patience to let them maybe dig up a single-use portal every 5 minutes.
It’s way too inconvenient and unreliable, I think.
This is the first time I’ve seen the trainee, too. And I’ve got 3 of each now! I’m doing stuff around the house, then just come back once every 5 minutes and kill one mob.
Eh, I can stack the portals to 20 and they drop 3 at a time. I’m not keen on constantly taking the cheapest flight from Pittsburgh to Tampa with a stop in Chicago first. But that’s just me.
FYI: I have now discovered that if you don’t turn in the quest, you get to keep your little trainee for that zone for all three days. So if anyone wants to farm for some of this stuff, you can! I’ve got three pets so far.
I speak only for myself when i say this but everything feels like such a convoluted mess these days, it doesn’t inspire me to google guides and find out how to do stuff, i’m more likely to just roll my eyes and log out. Like when you run to a chest on the map and it can’t actually be opened or a rare spawn star but there’s no actual rare there
I’m an engineer but when my toys aren’t helping me get around i find myself just afking on flight paths or afking in general until i can hearth again, i know Blizzard does a lot of their stuff to pad our playtime but they only ever succeed in annoying me and making me roll my eyes harder and log off lol
That’s fair. I honestly didn’t even know this was a thing until I went to Warcraftpets.com to look up an entirely different pet. The news on their front page talked about this and I learned something new— like I constantly do when I have to read a manual for this expansion. LOL
Nope, apparently it’s been around, but getting the specific trainee is RNG and rare.
Got one of these poo piles yesterday having no idea where it came from. I didn’t connect it with my trainee – didn’t notice the dialog. If only I’d known.
