Sorry if I’m late here, but I didn’t know this and I’ve seen other voice the same frustration, so just wanted to post about it.
I use Curseforge, and for whatever reason it didn’t automatically give me the update to download. If you click on Gladius and go to Versions, you can download the most recent update from 1/17/2023 and Gladius will work again, with right and left click doing target and focus.

I replaced with GladiusEx when it was not working. They are the same isn’t it? at least UI looks similar and work the same. Able to click on the nameplate.
Gladius feels a little cleaner to me, but its also just what I’m used to so its personal preference

If you go to the CurseForge website, the latest version is from 2020.
Super strange, but the Versions are in the actual app. No idea what’s going on, but I’m just happy it works again
