Fully upgrade your gear before you convert it to tier, not sure if it’s a bug, but converted shoulders to tier and they lost the ability to continue to be upgraded, so make sure you fully upgrade before converting.

It might be slot specific or gear specific because I converted a piece to tier and I was still fully able to upgrade it.
Which seasons tier set did you convert it to? Might be a bug with S1 set not having upgrade tracks because it wasn’t on the crest system yet.
Was a piece of timewarped gear from BC timewalking this week. Didn’t fully upgrade it thinking I would be able to after the fact. All other timewarped gear can still be fully upgraded.
Looking at all the other bugs that’ve been observed so far this season related to gear/catalysts, I’m gonna echo that it’s most likely a bug related to specific gear for specific classes.
Not sure and I don’t even remember which character - I have 16 70s I was gearing up. I know I was surprised because I had read a bug report about this and it still worked.
Yes but which tier set did it turn into? S1, 2, or 3?
Current season, look at this character in the armory and it’s the shoulders, they are current season, but can no longer be upgraded after being changed to tier.
I don’t think Catalyzing TW dungeon drops (Adventurer) is working as intended. I’d be wary to dump flightstones and crests into these in case they get deactivated as a “bug”.
Yeah I think it might be something to do with how low ilvl they started at. Either that or general timewalking weirdness. Thanks for the PSA and I hope you get it fixed, would just be nice to work out exactly why it happened so that people don’t encounter similar circumstances.

same here. Made a piece of tier and upgraded after. Mainly to get the different transmog appearances.
My pally got a whole bunch of gear including crusader level BP from the quests. Cant tier any of it, which is garbage
There are so many bugs already in the first week of season 4, I highly doubt even Blizz themselves knows or even cares about half of them.
