PSA: For Court of Stars, and getting it done easily

A lot of people may not have played legion doing COS now, so here’s some tips:

Bring an alchemist or rogue and do NOT pull first boss right away. Let alchemist poison bosses drink, it will be sitting on the edge of the fountain. At 25% the boss will go to drink it - and instantly die saving you a lot of time. Also please deactivate the towers so you don’t get adds during fight.

Bring a DH EVERY run. Dhs can see the imposter demon amongst the party goers using spectral sight and save time. Eyesight will still depend on clues being obtained thought, get all 5 clues and dh can spot it.

Alternatively, get a paladin tank to transmog the legion artifact shield and stand near npcs - it auto detects demons.

There’s other proff-buffs or triggers around the place so check them all out!

Im an alchemist evoker but yeah lol, bonus points if dh is also an alchemist! I’m seeing people head rush into boss without deactivating towers, so we get adds swarming us all while no chance for me to poison drink. I know its only the first 2 days of M+ but I hope this becomes common knowledge again. We also lost too much time trying to find demon in party cause no dh and timer killed.

I remember people trying to skip killing the second boss’ entourage first with the patrols and then wondering why the boss is taking no damage

So DH went from S tier to S+ in a matter of seconds. DH stock going through the roof rn.

Rogues can do that too? I don’t like playing rogue cause of energy bar resource so never would have guessed. Neat!

Prot paladin legion artifact effect that reveals demons is still disabled afaik :frowning: did the achievement this year and couldn’t use the artifact weapon special. Would be a cool trick if they let pallies contribute to the demon finding again

The DH still needs to talk to all 5 npc’s to then be able to spectral sight it and see the spy, we cant just see it straight away.

Paladins can too if they mog their Legion shield.

Can they? I tried it last year with the physical shield and it didn’t let me use it, and i had the correct hidden appearance or whichever gets the extra ability

I dunno how else to activate it lol. Did i need to be in prot spec?

Every appearance of truthguard exposes hidden demons.

When you stand near a hidden demon, the shield glows.

In the case of Court of Stars, it just tells you what clump of people the demon is in.

DK with blacksmithing, enchanting, and cooking

I get 3 of the buffs and 1 enforcer skip all by myself

Interesting, thank you. I was trying to use what i thought was an active that says “release the light to reveal demons” or whatever the flavour text on the shield is and that was greyed out because disabled artifact

The wowhead guide for glory of the legion achievement was really unclear on how to use the prot shield

That only works in Dalaran with the npcs that look like pcs milling about. When you get near one of them and they are a demon, the shield glows and you get an extraactionbutton to “pop” them out.

For court of stars, just run group to group until the shield glows, then everyone clicks a different person in the group and one of you is bound to be right.

I’m unsure if like DH, you need to have all the clues for it to be enabled.
