PSA: Don't Do All Day Binges Of Solo Shuffle

Wow! So I decided to give Solo Shuffle Ranked a shot, I didn’t have anything else going on in the day and had that itch! So, started to queue!

And…that’s what I mostly did the entire day, minus a break to help a guildmate with Timewalking. I noticed retrospectively I started becoming more sour and aggressive towards others as I played on, but I was determined to break that 1500 wall! That was my goal!

…To the point of tumbling back down to 1300 and being a bit of a jerk besides. I feel bad in retrospect…just frustration and burnout building up and I should’ve taken a break.

That’s all I have, breaks are important! Be sure to take one for a bit if you’re pushing for some sort of goal before Dragonflight hits!

Bye!

This happens in so many games. You are determined to get to a goal and then when you lose some your performance slips! Because of that you play worse than you would have.

So many online game forums for competitive games always suggest a short break to give you a mental reset. I’d do that and then go back at it when you’re not stressed about losing.

Playing with randoms who you can’t really communicate with is not the way to push higher in anything. You get frustrated and then release it elsewhere that doesn’t effect the change you want to see happen.
