If you could just allow gray and white items to be learnable, it would solve so many problems and open up so much bank space. There are a lot of white vendor gear that is truly unique.
I’m sure this isn’t “easy” but would be very welcome.

We all know it takes longer than 6 months for Blizzard to correct bugs if they are even able to fix bugs (which they haven’t been able to do lately).
Yeah, this was never going to be a gold making thing.

Please don’t overlook the Pandaren starting equipment in all of this! There are so many simple and clean looks that have never been moggable because all of it is Common gear, which is extremely unfortunate for how good some of those items look.

oh thank goodness… was really, REALLY worried when i heard about these new starting armors… so… i take it you guys are gonna have like, an npc in the starting zone who’s an ‘armorer’ or something? or uh… some guy selling the armors next to the archaeology trainer (cause it’s ‘historic’ armor)? one of those ideas?

Theres already a way you guys can do it theres the npc in Old Hillsbrad Foothills where he sells the robes and what not from like old school stuff or so dunno know if it has everything but you could just add it to his sell table instead of trying to figure out a new bs way to make them obtainable

[Apprentice’s Robe] for 40 copper
[Acolyte’s Robe] for 41 copper
and some other stuff im not gonna bother listening off so why not just add everything from the old starter gear to him hes name is traveling salesmen after all not like its gonna be weird if he just has everything for sell

We heard the same thing about the garrison crafting gear. We’re still waiting on that, too.

He’s not wrong. When they did the level squish, it messed up Warlords Garrison crafted gear, so they removed it and said they’d add it back in another way.
Yet here we are. Still no Garrison crafted gear, either.

So with this advice we no longer have to do what the OP suggested?
I know it’s something stupid but why do they always have to remove things to add things. Makes no sense.
It seems like a typical Clark suggestion to tell everyone to roll characters of every race and class just to get untransmoggable items, only to repeat that chore after the new series of untransmoggable items comes out.
I have enough things to do in the game without fulfilling Clark’s fantasy for him.
He started this thread LONG BEFORE there was ever a blue post about it. And as mentioned by other people, this has a Blizzard “soon” trademark, meaning they plan to make it so we don’t need to do it but we don’t know when(or if they will follow though).
