Hunters! You can use flare to fight the darkness in liu of being near the candle. It also works on the last boss too, flare acts exactly like a light source.

You can do the same with Basic Camp Fire and the candles you can purchase from the Kobolds.

You can distract mobs away from the escort mine cart by diverting them with your Ox Statue. Your Statue works in the darkness so just place where you want the mobs to go and they’ll just attack your statue while your team can keep moving the cart in peace!
