Yes I understand what simp is and that is why I agree with both their statements. You sound like one. You made the childish forum post and expected positive responses? Most of the community is not happy with the expansion hence the outcry on the forum. You just say blizz doesn’t hate them and is not specifically doing it to hurt the player base, but limited blue posts and fixes suggest otherwise.
Thanks for saying PVP needs to be fixed, I still agree with my previous post. You started the post calling others children and simp is what got you triggered.
In the past, games were made to be fun to get people to play. Now that gaming is mainstream, companies take advantage of human psychology rather than just focusing on making a good game.
“Most of the community” is definitely represented by the people on the forums. Which is all people who are unhappy, because if you’re happy with anything, you’re a simp, right?
I love that me saying people shouldnt feel personally victimized because they’re unhappy triggered you. If that’s not being soft, gosh darn it, I don’t know what is.
I’m sorry you take parts of a game that you don’t like personally.
Good talk
Plenty of people are enjoying Shadowlands. I personally only have an issue with some PvP stuff, but then again I don’t do PvE.
My point is that I don’t feel personally attacked because of what I dislike about PvP right now, and I’m not gonna make a post saying Blizz hates me or anyone else because of it because that **wouldn’t make any sense. **
I mean its simple really. Cyberpunk is pretty much in the same boat with their terrible release. We know that should have been delayed further. People were mad and complained about it hard and on one platform are getting refunds maybe more platforms will follow.
It is no different here SIMPle sir. The game was not ready and should have been delayed a second time but we know why it WAS released early I dont think I need to spell that out and you make a PSA about not getting mad a blizz and how they arent attacking the player base.
I mean you really are what triggers you and that would be a simp.
Bad example. WoD was never intended to having flying in the first place but the community cried. Expansions should only have flying when it is necessary, like in TBC and Wrath.
You’re suggesting that a group of people whose company depends financially on the willingness of supposedly-rational human beings to part with their money in return for access to a video game do things with the intent of angering the very people on whom their next rent check depends.
I might just be picky but I don’t really like when people say its the “devs” that choose to design the game like this. To me, its clear that systems in the game are heavily influenced by the business people that force the game to be this way.
This is the way Blizzard used to design the game. Now they hamstring the player by making everyday tasks more time consuming, drip feeding content to string you along, and generally make things a slog.
They are following the Chinese mobile game model to keep you subscribed. It’s an easy way to cut down on development time and costs. They’re providing you with less content, but it doesn’t feel like it because you’ve got FarmVille chores to complete everyday. It’s not exactly malicious, but it absolutely is anti-consumer and a fall from grace for a once great company.
It isn’t just one aspect though. It is like they took everything I hated in the game and made it into an expansion. Can I feel they are being malicous now?
Marvel made Hulk lose to the Hulkbuster armor (which the Hulk has canonically never lost too in the comics). This is Marvel purposely not listening to the fans and being close minded, just doing their own agenda without any care for us. Man, I remember when Marvel used to care about their fans.
I think what most people mean is that Blizzard is gating a lot of the content to maximize /played.
That’s fine and dandy but sometimes it’s to the detriment of the player experience, like the Venthyr campagin. Because accounting basically dictates how the content is rolled out, we have a raid out but don’t even have the story leading up to the raid. How you can defend this kind of disconnect is beyond me.
