If you get this mace, make sure you equip it and then use it out of combat and then relog to acquire the other skin color. The weapon is red for STR/AGL and blue for INT.

Oh, yeah, and on a similar note remember to put on pieces you get before upgrading them so you get all the appearances.

I made that mistake once, never again.
Got an Ashkandur on my DK alt. Upgraded it before equipping it and it removed the first appearance from my collection. Was so lame.

Yep. Gotta put it on first to lock in that base appearance.

You can get all the appearances while upgrading without having to equip them.
The trick is to upgrade them one step at a time. If you jump from 1 to 8 it bugs and can skip awarding the skins in between. You gotta take your time and do each one separately. At least that works for me.

That hasn’t been an issue since they implemented Warbands. You will get a message confirming the base appearance was saved as you upgrade into the new appearance.

I just got burned too many times to risk not equipping the item before upgrading it. It happened to me again just last week with a pair of boots that I didn’t equip before upgrading.
