Regarding the Chimera mounts. Since this mount appears to be a skyreaver reskin, there’s a fairly good chance that it too will suffer from the broken surge forward animation as noted back in July of 2024:
If that’s not a big deal for you, go for it. But I ain’t spending any TP currency (or worse yet, real dollars on another broken store mount) that has borked animations. I expect better. You should too.
I’ve used the skyreaver mounts a bunch and never encountered that bug. Perhaps it’s been fixed.
It hasn’t. I just checked in-game.
If it uses in-game currency, I will probably get it for the +1 and just never use it, as is the fate of every Trading Post mount I have gotten.

These felt kind of trading-posty to me. But the matching sets is saying cash shop. Kind of hoping its all on the post. I really like them.
Have they fixed the issue with the character sitting too low on skyreavers? They clip through the saddle horribly. I stopped using these types of mounts because it looks so bad. I think a few other types of mounts have suffered from this as well, but to a lesser extent. It’s REALLY obvious with skyreavers, especially if you look from the side.
tbh the sitting poses on a lot of mounts are messed up right now though.
