PSA - Attempted mass reporting over mob tags

First time poster, be gentle.

Just wanna bring an experience I had in the Badlands to the attention of the community. No names because the intention is awareness to issues we see here in forums. Specifically reports of players being banned for no reason or for reasons that don’t break the ToS.

Had a disagreement while sharing mob tags of Troggs with a caster, told him not to be rude and split the mobs. Other than the classic cursing me out for asking another fellow horde to be civil and share the mobs, we disagreed on simple etiquette. Nothing to get twisted over.

However, the player then proceeds to threaten to report me for harassment, even though I didn’t return the curses or berate/degrade them in anyway. And then proceeds to message other players in the Badlands to mass report me for harassment and botting! lmao If it weren’t for someone putting my name in General chat I would not have known the player was attempting to get me banned. Over mob tags.

I just wanna say, who else is grinding at 9am on a sunday but people who love this game. If we push people out of this game by being toxic like this, for mob tags, what does that say about us. Bring awareness to the fact that this behavior is unacceptable and toxic. If someone messages you about a bot, message the person just to see, investigate a small amount. Because you could be tagging mobs one day alongside a fellow horde or ally, and then banned. I have not been banned yet, but I love this game, and I have made many friends out questing in many expansions and launches. Let’s Be Better and Have some Fun out there gang! feel free to roast me in the comments, one love

You’re not going to get banned by bot reports. If that were true, I would have been banned already because I’ve never paid for a summon.

Ignore them and keep doing you.
