PSA - Alternate AH's during Dance Parties

Just a heads up, noticed this being asked a lot in /1 since the AH’s are in dance party mode and wanted to point out that there are alternate Auction Houses in Orgrimmar and Stormwind.

Orgrimmar

Orgrimmar has Five, yes FIVE, Auction Houses. Here is a map showing each location to easily seek them out.

  1. The one that everyone knows in Valley of Strength which is currently in Dance Party mode.

  2. The Second is in Valley of Honor right to the West of the Pandaren Camp in the large building by the pool of water. There are four different Auctioneer’s in this hut named “Auctioneer Vizput”, “Auctioneer Kuvi”, “Auctioneer Drezbit”, and “Auctioneer Zilbeena”.

  3. The Third is in Velley of Wisdom in the North-West corner (This is my personal favorite as there is a Mailbox, Bank, Guild Bank, and Auctioneer close to each other and its a mountable area). The Auctioneer is named “Auctioneer Sowata” and is located in front of a small Tauren Tent.

  4. The fourth is actually right next to the Orgrimmar Embassy in the remaining Goblin Slums directly north of the embassy. The Auctioneer is named “Auctioneer Fenk” and is located in a makeshift Goblin hut.

  5. Finally, the Fifth Auction House is in the Valley of Spirits in the Troll section, though I have personally never used this one. They are in the Central Two-Story hut along with a Banker and Guild Bank. The Auctioneer is named “Auctioneer Ziji”.

Stormwind

In Stormwind there are two location’s for Auction Houses. Here is a map also showing these locations.

  1. The standard Trade District Location which is currently in Dance Party mode.

  2. The Second Location is found at the Dwarven District across from the Bank and right before the archway that leads to the Embassy. There are Four Auctioneer’s here by the names of “Auctioneer Hesse”, “Auctioneer Lauffer”, “Auctioneer Fitzgerald”, and “Auctioneer Jaxon”

Thoughts

I know this is a little late at this point but I hope it can serve as a reference in the future and I hope to bring this thread back up next time we draw close to another Dance Party type event.

I also think that the Alliance really got the short end of the stick in terms of Auction Houses. I feel like there is room for some more Auction Houses in the Mage District with a magical/wizardly theme to it similarly to Dalaran, Old Town with a shady back alley Rogue vibe, and maybe even one down at the Docks near where cargo is loaded/unloaded like a port Market of sorts. I think it would be nice to even things out a bit, I know its not the most important thing in the world and there are “bigger problems” that come first but this is just an observation/opinion

BFA in a nutshell.

How thoughtful.

I had no idea Orgrimmar had more than two.

When I saw the dance party I assumed the other once was the same. So I went to UC and saw an undead fellow by a barrel.

 Thank you. I just wish I had gotten this up earlier when it was more useful at the time haha.

I knew it had three though I honestly only found out about the Valley of Wisdom one about a year ago (roughly) but as I started looking into this I was honestly kinda surprised to find out we had a full five different spots.

I… was not expecting that in Orgrimmar haha

So when I was looking into the Alliance side I was like “Oh man, I wonder how many AH’s I don’t know about in Stormwind!” only to find out that the two were really the only ones.

Nah, thankfully the Dance Party only affects one AH in each city. It would suck to have to go to another city during those days just to do Auctions. Though…

If a Horde group camps the other Alliance AH on those days then that kinda sucks. With the Horde we at least have multiple options on those days in case anyone tries to cause some havoc.

Org has more than two but no one cares.
Literally.
Valley of Strength is the only relevant one.

Thanks so much!

I didn’t know that there was another Auctioneer in Stormwind (started mid this year). Grateful that you’ve made this thread.

I would argue that Valley of Wisdom trumps Valley of Strength in every capacity due to everything being outside, close proximity, and can be accessed while mounted including Mailbox, Auctioneers, Bank, and Guild Bank as opposed to Valley of Strength which the Bank/Guild bank is located on the opposite side of the Valley of Strength.

You are most certainly welcome, I am glad that this information could help someone  Hope you are enjoying your time in World of Warcraft.

This one is soooo perfect it’s kind of broken really. You can stand in the middle and open your bank and AH without moving. Makes for some really fast trading/shopping/posting and such. And no one is ever there.

You know the NPCs in game tell people this, i.e. that there are other auction houses. So if they aren’t paying attention there, it is unlikely they will notice your post either.

Most people know there are other auction houses, maybe some extremely new people won’t know, pretty common knowledge.

I have to lol at this one.

Your main BFA city vs Horde’s? Everything is extremely convenient to access for Alliance whereas Horde have to literally traverse up and down a pyramid and/or take a flipping flight path down to get to the mission table/docks.

The Alliance story arc has much more depth and interesting stuff in it (subjective.)

I just woke up and am getting ready for work, but I’m sure I can come up with more if I wasn’t blurry eyed.

On topic: Thanks to OP for sharing this. I hadn’t realized there were so many in Org. I knew of the two in the extra branch areas, but not the others.

At least I am trying to help people, what are you doing? Literally 100% of your responses on these boards have been antagonistic and combative towards me, even in your thread where I agreed with you a while back you STILL found a way to not only disagree with me but continue to have this “holier than thou!” attitude.

And you have also already been proven wrong on your statement.

On top of that, Spodge, I am 99.9% sure that said NPC’s only direct players to the primary AH’s of each city. They may mention the others off handedly but I am pretty sure they don’t pin/direct players there.

And yet I sat in Orgrimmar watching /1 show quite the opposite all night. If you know about all of these, good for you. Not everyone clearly knows which is who this thread is for.

Oh boy. I just found it funny that the NPCs in game actually have a little conversation about ‘angry trader’ going to the ah and the other npc saying there is another one …

You guys freaking won the war and you call that the short end of the stick?

Your comment was worthless because the only thing he did was just add another source of information. It’s like saying Wowhead is pointless because NPC #475 already has the info that you need.

It was mostly a joke lol.

Ugh sorry then. Text can really get in the way of jokes

That’s nice, but really so is yours.

No, just a clever way to farm those likes from angry Alliance.
