I do want to say that more in line with the thread about pvp being “playable” I would rather see more counterplay than massive nerfs, but I don’t know what would appeal most to people who would care to keep doing arena.
For example, we have an issue now where people who consider themselves at least average to good at pvp feel they aren’t able to play the game. They have to play in panic mode and then a couple globals decide the match. I would argue this isn’t, by itself, the major problem here. A few globals should decide a close match, that’s how this works.
If you make a wrong move in chess, you weaken your position. If you make a very wrong move, you will lose. A single decision matters.
Right now we might have the “3 move checkmate” that people haven’t been able to solve, but they might just not have the tools to solve it yet.
If I had one or two spells that used to exist, ALL of this would change for me. Sham rage / wall in stun, and the instacast off-gcd spell that gives me one instant hex every 1.5min. Those two minor mechanic changes have basically no impact on pve and would improve my QoL by massive amounts. They should be sitting in the pvp talent box instead of some “lightning hits random things at distance” junk.
Every other class and spec should have similar mechanic / build options that lets them make choices to outsmart the goon who thinks he’s gonna checkmate them in 3 moves.

U right but blizzard doesnt want pvp players to play this game. They think people who pvp are bad guys who are aggressive and toxic masculinity. And as we all know from the shadowlands loading screen, whamen good, man bad.
So, they make it as annoying as possible to enjoy PvP in this game, in like an almost passive aggressive way, so we all quit.
ill give it a try cant be any worse
I agree it could be phrased better, but I did not want you to think he said something he didn’t say.

I think you need to queue for an arena first my dude…
I have a 70% win rate at 2100 mmr in 2s. Chillin. Beating all rogue teams. I think they definitely need damage tuning, but this thread is like a dooms day thread. You’ll be okay.
We’ll have to take your word for it, since your profile doesn’t seem to reflect that.
But having said that, disc priest and sub rogue is extremely powerful too.
I’m 24 and 11 in 2s. I guess you don’t do math all that well. That’s a 70% win rate bud.
It doesn’t show mmr. All it shows is 1700 for your 2’s and 3’s.
Btw a 60% win rate for 3’s.
The shaman I was queueing with is Connecting-Illidan if you want to look at his cr and deduce what mmr might have been.
And yeah, I was playing with friends. You haven’t been above 2k since 2009 lmao. Please stop typing.
Again, we’ll have to take your word for it.
I quit the game after TBC, only came back for like a week each expansion. I got to the #1 spot on the ladder in 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 back then. But alright lol.
Btw if you’re playing with a shaman I’m assuming you’re doing resto shadow, which obviously is S tier right now and expected to be nerfed next. Just saying.
18% vers, Necro shield, 4x stacks ghost wolf dmg reduction, and astral shift keep me alive for a solid 4 seconds against rogues. Proof that pvp is fine. Stop complaining.
