Plunderstorm is more PvE than PvP. I don’t get these comments. You win by killing as many elites and mobs as you can in the first minute and leveling up so you can survive as long as possible for the rest of the match and to complete a PvE quest.

So battlegrounds are actually PvE content then? I mean Alterac Valley you kill bosses to make killing the end boss easier, totally PvE content.

People have been complaining about AV being PvE for a long time now, and I happen to agree, which is why it’s obvious that Plunderstorm was not made for PvPers.
It’s as much PvP as being heckled while doing a standup routine is PvP.

Killing npcs in AV doesn’t level your character. If you’re good at PvE you can crush PvPers in plunderstorm simply by leveling faster than them.
Yeah but if your team is good at PvE then you’ll blast through the NPCs in AV faster than the other team and win the game, same principle really.

It has a pvp element but all the rewards are pve based

Oh dear… its a BR, a BR is pvp. If a BR has pve elements they exist to serve the pvp (such as is the case here)

What you are saying would mean League of Legends is a PvE game cause you kill NPC minions

You must not do av much.
The teams legit run by each other to tower cap then kill the boss. Its a majority pve where you can pvp if you want
Its why av kinda sucks
The amount of mental gymnastics people jump through when talking about this mode are something else.

Rewards come from:
- Quests: That’s PvE
- Loot: That’s PvE
- Leveling your character: That’s PvE.

why? Because you get loot and xp from pvp also… its almost like its built into the game.
