Can’t seem to find it. Is there a way to delete select messages or completely prune guild chat under this new guild and community layout thing.
If you select the Roster tab (looks like a scroll) in the guild interface, it should remember that setting each time you open it.
If you right-click the General chat tab and open its settings, you can uncheck the Guild chat option and it won’t show up in your chat window either.
…Could also just /gquit too, I suppose.

Oh, gotcha. So you want to remove certain things that have already been said in guild chat. I know that functionality exists in Battle.net Groups’ chat, but I don’t know if it does for guilds.
Honestly, if someone’s causing guild drama, I’d say kick that person to the curb and be done with it. Deleting their comments is a band-aid.

Yeah they been booted, just would like to clear the drama though too
In the community panel of guild chat you might be able to delete those posts, but I’m not sure. I’ve never had to try.
Hm. I don’t think you can. Although, you could potentially spam your own guild chat until the drama bits are scrolled past the point a person can backtrack through it?

Go to the chat log in the guild interface and right click on the person’s name next to the chat message you want to delete. Since you’re the GM, you should see an option in the right click menu to delete the message. You’ll have to delete each message individually.

oh that works! Clicking on the character name not the message itself! You are a rock star @Takoda. Now only if it didn’t leave the message of it being deleted and still showing the characters name.
