Proving grounds

Thought I’d go for some easy achievements… Oops! I was wrong. If you’re looking for a decent challenge, they will provide it.

Na they’re easy if you know how-to play .

he might be talking about something higher than the silver challenge

Looking at your achieves, you don’t have them all finished… try going for gold and then tell me they are easy.

Should’ve done it towards the end of BfA before pre-patch. Talk about faceroll…

I mean. I think they are still mostly easy.

I also think they are designed for a period of time, and not updated. Meaning it may be more difficult for some specific specs.

Look at my achieves if you want though.

I was even bored a few years ago and went back and got “you are doing it wrong” on my shaman.

I came back at the end of BFA (quit mid way or so during legion). If I would have known level scaling screws crap up this bad I would have done it back then.

Try them now… =)

Ok! Re-did endless healer, wave 30.

I was obsessed with them a few years ago.

I thought they were a fun challenge to implement. I’m sure there’s something they could have kept doing it for the solo player challenge.

Since I got all the achieves to it I just haven’t felt a need to go back.

I like the Proving Grounds.

I don’t actually hate the Kung Fu Panda type vibe of MoP, but should never been a full expansion. Pandas and Martial Arts type stuff should have been incremental patch content. Like how we visited Pandaria in BFA - just a quick pop in to do some activities. The problem with MoP was stretching out concepts into three or four hour leveling zones and having absurd amounts of comic relief.

Anyways, yeah, I think it would be cool if they remastered Proving Grounds and included it as part of the progression path at some point in the future, although it seems unlikely because the last time they did it, “casuals” (read: terrible players) threw a S$$$ FIT about it. It’s a shame how bad players drag the game down sometimes, it’s why we Snorghast instead of Torghast.

Wow, the Kung Fu Panda complaint/comparison. I haven’t heard that in like 10 years. Thanks for the nostalgia.

They weren’t bad to be honest… The only one I couldn’t conquer was the tanking one. Edit: But then I never tank sooo…

I haven’t tried that in couple of months, but I know I was stuck in the endless wave 20. I’ll beat it one of these days.

Mostly because Blizzard has done a good job of keeping Pandas irrelevant so we don’t have to talk or think about their existence.

I am a regularly user of the proving grounds. Not so much to beat them.

But I find the proving grounds a great way to test out a new UI set up, fiddle around with an alt’s rotation in a semi realistic way, etc. All in a stress free environment.
