Hello all,

I’m a returning player of sorts and trying to restart my mid-lvl pally as a healer. My plan was to level solely through PUGs in dungeons but I wanted to get the ropes first so people aren’t repeatedly dying to my mistakes.

When I spoke with my class trainer in Silvermoon though I could not enter Proving Grounds as the option wasn’t available. I originally left before Pandaria so I’m not well versed on potentially trying to access it there and I don’t have a Garrison.

Any assistance here on either an alternative option or a solution to getting to the training instance would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there’s now a level 50 requirement to use the Proving Grounds. (I have no idea why, I suppose they didn’t want to have do deal with scaling it over a larger level range.)

Epic battlegrounds tend to be my go to for practice when I can’t access proving grounds. They become available at level 20. There’s generally enough people that there’s not a ton of pressure and it gives you a chance to build some muscle memory for your spells and work out any UI issues. (You’ll also get some XP as a bonus.)
