I would really like to know how ilvling scaling works in Proving grounds in shadowlands. I am ilvl 180 and having a lot of problems healing gold. Does anyone know how the scaling works? Please help Thank you!
it scales you down. so your ilvl doesn’t matter.
It’s always been wonky. During wod it was important to have the correct ilvl. Too high or too low meant you’d fail.
The most annoying thing is if one person dies it’s over. Why? You can lose people and still win in actual fights.
It seems likes it undoable at ilvl180 Disc priest. I just want to know if its just me seems like im doing everything right about after about wave 5 it gets impossible
I tried on my 180 pally healer and didn’t get it. I only tried gold, twice and left.
The proving grounds is old content that was designed to “prove yourself” and would show when you qued up to group bronze/silver/gold challenge medals and show pug leaders you “knew what you were doing” aka…meant nothing. Clearly it failed because it was only a repetition of events that you could beat easily after a while so they dumped it.
I easily beat the DPS one to gold because the monkeys and stuff were easy to kill, was a joke.
