Do Proving Grounds achievements get reset per expansion?
I’ve gotten Proven Healer, Defender, and Assailant, and now when I apply for a group, it shows me as only Silver Damage.
Am I missing something? Do I have to redo these every expansion?
Also, I just went to my Paladin class trainer in Stormwind, and he doesn’t even give the options to do Proving Grounds. Where can you access this now?
If I remember correctly, from your garrison, inside the town hall from the chick that’s sitting at your mission board.
You can also do it inside Dalaran and its Legion version by talking to your trainer in Silver/Greyfang Enclave

I just redid the Gold tank challenge, and it’s still showing me as only Silver Damage when I sign up for a group. What gives???

I don’t know if there is a difference between them. Also are you signing up for group as DPS or Tank? That might be a reason why it’s showing you as silver DPS.
It used to only show your rating based off of the role you’ve selected. Not sure if that’s true anymore.
They did reset one time, between WoD and Legion. Legion modified how proving grounds worked, so the achievements earned prior to Legion were moved to the “Legacy” set of achievements.
They have not reset again to my knowledge. If they’ve disappeared for you and it wasn’t an older pre-Legion achievement getting moved, it might be a bug.
Your achievements show wave 30 for each. Under expansion features. I’m not sure where it shows different, when applying for a group.
Is this thread for endless chads?
Don’t click on legacy/global. That shows you as silver damage. The achievements/expansion feature. non- legacy show you as 30 waves endless for all. This was done legion or later i think.
No I don’t believe so. They pretty much abandoned proving grounds because it failed the desire goal. I was able to get gold DPS in WoD and I was a new WoD baby and terrible player which says a lot. It was a test of patterns.
Yea, I see that I do have the achievement. And just for good measure, I went back and did the Gold requirement for each spec. Still only shows me for Silver Damage, regardless if I apply as a tank, healer, or dps. Weird.
