Thinking about switching to alliance and raiding on proudmoore. Can anyone give me some opinions on how that realm is overall??

Carebear server, but it got some good people in there. There some good raiding guild in that server too.

It’s friendly. Just be prepared for some people thinking they’re being “Cute” and posting some extra vile anti lgbt stuff in trade ( more than usual I mean ) since it’s the unofficial lgbt server.
Other than that, it cool.

I say it’s great. When I play Alliance, I play on Proudmoore.
It is an original server - which means it has a history. Roots. Old Guilds and old players as well as new and everything in between.
High to Full pop - lots of stuff going on and many guilds to choose from.
Great economy. You can find what you need in the AH at reasonable prices.
It has a decent raiding scene.
It is PST West Coast based. A generally chill attitude. You notice it if you ever played on different servers. It’s a vibe.
However - possible cons:
If you like tiny low pop servers for what ever reason. Some folks do.
If you are hard core into PvP. It has very little competitive PvP going on. You should stay away.
If you are a hateful anti glbt type who gets triggered by any mention of it. It is the unofficial GLBT server. They have Pride Parades. You would be happier in an EST server or CST server. The kind people of Proudmoore would be glad if you played somewhere else, as well.

Uhh idk people say its friendly but I talked in trade chat there one time and they were extremely rude. I think trade chat is like that on all servers though.

Honestly only big con I can also think of is the horde population sucks. So only LGBT Alliance really get to have all the fun there. Horde doesn’t really have a server picked out like that. None that I can recall anyway.

Most actual friendly people are using guild chat, not trade.

Oh yes, Proudmoore Horde is near dead. I started there in vanilla. It just became too dead, and I am glad I left.
But Proudmoore Alliance is the bee’s knees.
I don’t always play Alliance, but when I do, it’s on Proudmoore.

Which I would like to add as being gay and on that server theirs TONS od non lgbt people aswell. it’s more of the lgbt friendly server. (so most people their just don’t care)
good pop lots of guilds running around most of the time hunting people. and good people overall
Proudmoore is a slightly less 4chan-y Stormrage on the west coast.
I had this character on that realm once. It is the only time I’ve received sexual propositioned and been sexually harassed within the game. A simple server transfer back to my home server fixed the issues.

I’ve been on Proudmoore since release day.
Being a release-day server it still has a good population of active players…if you’re Alliance. I’ve never had a problem with anyone on Proudmoore.
It was the unofficial Aussie server for a long time before being the unofficial LGBT server.
It was both for a time.
American and Aussie play times are different enough, that the server was always active.
Until the Aussies got their free server transfers to their own servers. They play with less lag now, so good for them.
Proudmoore is still the Bohemian and Cosmopolitan Alliance server. Very storied and diverse. If that interests you.

From my experience, they are one of the first servers to yell at people after 1 wipe and get mad a lot over nothing
It definitely helped for finding groups when I was in college and playing during BC, since I was a night owl.
My older brother has been on it for a long time, it’s west coast server time though so I passed on moving there for an east coast one with less ping.
Very helpful and friendly server from what I’ve heard.
People get so nasty with each other sometimes, it’s like who you sleep with doesn’t change what I’m doing with my life so who cares
