Do you think in 9.2.5, the amount of Genesis Motes required to forge a pet/mount might get lowered?
I kinda hate having to earn 450 motes at a time. Having said that, 450 motes seems like a worthy amount of effort to get a mount.
If I’ve learned anything from this game, it’s that you should always wait until later on to do the grindy stuff as it usually gets eased.
I wish motes could drop from killing players in bgs and completing m+ dungeons
Since it’s related to cosmetic stuff, I don’t foresee them really lowering it to be honest. But who knows?
I feel like I’m missing something with the Protoform Synthesis. I have both researches unlocked, and I really just wanted to craft a few mounts. But I can’t find a single blueprint for a mount. I’ve looked for the one at the beginning of the raid, and a few that are supposed to just be hanging out outdoors, but I haven’t found any. Granted, I’m not going to claim I’ve farmed for them for hours upon hours or anything. But still - I figured I’d of gotten one by now.
Figured the one by the first boss in the raid would be a freebie, but it’s never there.
If you join a mote farming group, you can get 1000 motes in an hour.
The mote cost, though annoying, is very manageable.

I doubt it. Requirements for cosmetics aren’t usually subject to QoL changes. Especially since you can earn then passively.
No… not really. Just more of Blizzards unbalanced costs vs rewards. Just one more thing to not participate in or make them think they’re making correct decisions.
Considering this is the patch for the next probably 6 months at the least and perhaps 10 months at most, doubtful.
I wouldn’t be too concerned and just get it passively, and of course as you said it could potentially get increased later so.
